Must be comfortable with safely maintaining and operating Tri axle dump trucks, roll off trucks, tri axle dump truck with tag float, 75 Tonne double drop low boy float and hauling over size construction equipment.

Person should be punctual, professional, organized, motivated and have general understanding of maintaining and repairing heavy trucks and heavy equipment.

Should have minimum of 5 years experience and be comfortable and capable of operating 5 metric tonne – 60 metric tonne excavators, dozers up to D8T, rock trucks, skid steers, loaders and other various pieces of earth moving construction equipment.

Should be familiar with the environmental remediation and spill response sector in Ontario, Canada.

The ideal candidate would have connections with the environmental engineering and consulting world along with developers, land owners, municipalities, large scale remediation sites, environmental remediation practices and services knowledge would be helpful.

Understanding our competitors, our clients, our suppliers and our marketplace would immensely help this person be very successful in this position.

Work would be maintaining current client base and also building a new base of clients for the firms future expansions into the environmental sector in Ontario.

Some experience with customer service, client relations, sales and marketing would be helpful.

Should have minimum of 5 years experience and be experienced with environmental site remediation of soil and ground water. Be experienced in excavations, UST/AST Removals, dewatering, managing other staff, crews and be accountable for the crews. Experience managing sites, ordering materials, following work plans and schedules. Have experience following work plans, keeping detailed notes of daily site activity and working closely with engineers and management staff of KG: Services.

Experience with another environmental remediation contractor or experience with excavation company whom had undertaken demolition, gas station decommissioning or impacted soils removal and ground water pumping would be an asset.

Should have minimum of 5 years experience and be comfortable and capable of servicing and repairing of  5 metric tonne – 60 metric tonne excavators, dozers up to D8T, rock trucks, skid steers, loaders and other various pieces of earth moving construction equipment. 90% of work is done at our shop on schedule maintenance or repairs as need. Most the equipment is new and is general service and upkeep. 

Comfortable and capable of servicing, general repairs of dump trucks, tractors with equipment floats, trailers, work site pick up trucks. General repairs.

Be proficient in record keeping for preventative maintenance logs, repair logs, general inspections and provide recommended repairs list and costs.

Such person should take pride in their work and want to excel in their field. No previous experience but person should have a general idea of construction, machines, trucks, safety etc. 

Tasks would be washing, greasing, fueling and cleaning heavy excavating equipment and fleet of dump trucks, trailers and pick up trucks. 

Keep the shop clean, assisting the mechanic if working at headquarters 

If on site – working under the site foreman, generally duties would be flagging, assisting with various on site tasks, sweeping, shoveling, operating compactors, water pumps, power washers, operating smaller equipment like skid steers, compact excavators, forklifts. 

This is an entry level position and would provide the opportunity to move up into operating position, full time shop position or other position are available if your work ethic and performance persist to be above par.
